This program is for children from birth to five years old, and their parents or caregivers.
At a Follow Along appointment, you will:
- Learn about your child’s development and milestones and what to expect next as your child grows and develops.
- Be provided with fun ideas for activities to try at home.
- Have a chance to ask questions about how your child is moving, talking, sleeping, behaving, or anything else related to their development.
If needed, Follow Along can include additional support, information and coaching to help you and your child in your daily routines at home
You can start the program at anytime before your child starts kindergarten.
Visits are scheduled a few times a year (or more often if requested). Visits are fun and focused on play.
You can visit us at our centre, your home, or another location if requested. The Follow Along program is offered in all Yukon communities.
