Physiotherapist Employment Opportunity

  • 30 to 37.5 hours a week (.8 to 1.0 FTE)

Excellent opportunity to join the professional team of the Child Development Centre, which provides early intervention services to children from birth to five years of age, and their families. Our team of physiotherapists work as part of a transdisciplinary team to provide assessment and follow up with children with a wide variety of motor needs.  Relocation allowance of up to $2000 is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy;
  • Currently registered or ability to be registered as a Physiotherapist with the Government of Yukon;
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural setting;
  • Experience working with young children with developmental needs and their families;
  • Experience working in a transdisciplinary team setting;
  • Knowledge of assessment and intervention strategies for young children; and
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Salary range and benefits

  • Salary range is $39.35 – $47.87 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • RRSP share plan and self-directed benefits.
  • This position is covered by the Public Service Alliance of Canada Collective Agreement.
